The Marshland Wildlife Drive starts at the end of the parking lot of the Visitors Center. It is open from dawn to dusk May 15 to October 20 and it consists of 7 miles of one-way gravel road. Along the drive there is a good mix of wetlands and forests. We encourage visitors to slow down and take it all in, you may pull over and get out whenever you would like. Biking and hiking the drive is also allowed. There are three observation decks throughout the 7 miles and numerous pools that attract different wildlife such as trumpeter swans, common loons, terns, osprey, bald eagles, wood ducks, common mergansers and many other species.
