Welcome to Seney National Wildlife Refuge! The refuge was founded in 1935 and was originally created as a sanctuary for migratory birds. At 95,238 acres, it is the largest National Wildlife Refuge in Michigan. Make sure to turn Geo-alerts on (below) to notify you when you are close to a point of interest. If you have any questions or are looking for something to do, the Visitor Center is a great place to start. This app is funded and maintained by Seney Natural History Association.
